Tomorrow is my last chemotherapy. Im doing so well. Im sure this one won't be any different from the others. I feel very comfortable with the whole process. Today I have blood drawn to be sure my blood counts are healthy enough to tolerate the chemo. Im sure they will be fine since I feel perfectly normal. Tomorrow I see Dr Saven at 9AM. After that I go to the chemo room where I settle in for six hours of miracle drugs going into my system via IV. I bring a small cooler with healthy snacks and lunch. Amazingly I feel well enough to eat. The first time I had chemo I thought I would be nauseated so I didn't bring food, and I was hungry! Around 2PM the last dose is going in. (There are four different drugs.) So we call Frank and he heads back to the clinic to pick me up.
I bought 2 boxes of Sees candy. One for Dr Saven's office and one for the treatment room as a great big thank you for all the wonderful care I have received.
