I just realized that I didn't talk about what the doctor told me on the day I got chemo. I had had several tests last week and he gave me the results. The cancer is above my diaphragm and and below with several lymph nodes near my neck involved as well as several scattered around my abdomen. And of course there is the big grapefruit over my stomach but not attached to my stomach. This is defined as an aggressive cancer. 'Oh No!" you must be thinking. But as everything else in the topsy turvy world aggressive is curable, while indolent is only treatable. It seems the cells that are targeted in my kind of cancer are more susceptible than the slower growing cells. So this stuff is scattered all one my body. But it is NOT in my bones. That is a good thing. It puts me in the category of stage 3 the worst is stage 4.
Specifically I have aggressive non Hodgkins Lymphoma subcategory Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, the most common type of fast growing lymphoma.

Sallee-This is really interesting stuff. I've never seen what all these things look like and I didn't know it took 7 hours. Thanks for educating us on everything. I would like to email Katie just to check in on her. Do you think that would be allright? Still thinking of you and hope you are doing ok. Sabrina
