Good news

Here I sit with an IV in my arm munching on almonds my
Head whirling with information.
The first thing we did was see Dr Savin. Turns out he is one of the best oncologists in the country. People come from all over the world to be treated by him. I didn't do anything to get him. He was just given to me. Now here is when things get topsy turvy
I have an aggressive form of non hodgkins lymphoma, categorized as diffuse large b-cell lymphoma. That's bad, right? Turns out that is good. It seems chemotherapy can knock this out more easily than the slow growing type. They say that this first round will break down the tumor today. Amazing!
Then my body will excrete it.
I do not have it in my bone marrow. Thats good!
The chemo nurse just spent 45 minutes going over each drug they will give me and the side effects. One of the harsher drugs is nicknamed Red Devil. It happens to be red and is a devil of a drug.
I'm writing this from my hospital bed on my iPad they have free wifi here. You gotta love it
You can all breath a sigh of relief.
Much love
Sallee
