Yesterday afternoon I began to feel almost normal. I had to go down to the Rancho Bernardo clinic and get my after chemo shot of Nuelesta. It will stimulate my white blood cells that were being destroyed by the chemo to get back up to speed. Then we stopped by the drug store for more stuff. My kitchen table looks like a pharmacy. I had to make a med chart to keep everything straight. I have it on my iPad. It is very convenient to grab it and chart my meds.
I slept well last night. I did wake up at 4am. But thats ok. Im feeling fine, just a little tired. I still have my hair. My wig should be ready Friday.
Yesterday we finished clearing out the computer room. Our Mexican friends came and hauled out those huge pieces of furniture. We are turning it back into a guest room. We want to have a comfortable place for people to sleep if they come down for a visit.
Poor Mary and Sue had to sleep on an air mattress on the living room floor when Mike was dying. One night the air leaked out and Mary found herself on the hard floor. Fortunately she had the couch as a back up. The next thing we need in the computer room/ guest room is a bed.
Love to all of you. Im up for phone calls. If I don't answer leave a message and I will try to call you back soon.
Sal
