When I arrived in the treatment area for my first chemotherapy dose I was given a packet of materials to read. In it was a lovely hand made card with words of encouragement made by a teenager who has taken this on as a school project. She used her own photography of lovely flowers. This is what the message said:
On My Journey I Will
Enjoy the peace and beauty of each new day.
Fill my moments with passion love and kindness
Cherish children friends and loved ones
Care for my body
Rest when weary
Focus on healing
Accept this temporary but necessary obstacle in my life
Pray for complete healing of my soul and body
Realize that Im a survivor
Undertake this small part of a long journey
Her name is Andrea Miller a student at Scripps Ranch High school

Thanks for sharing these wonderful comments from this young woman. They are comforting, encouraging and wise, don't you think? I am glad you are already feeling fairly good and able to sleep more. Praying for you always, Sue
