Volunteer of the Year

Yesterday we went to Paws'itive Teams Pawlaploosa, otherwise known and Volunteer Appreciation Day. It was great to see all my two legged and 4 legged friends.  I haven't seen them for several months because of the crazy twists and turns my life has taken. Everyone seemed glad to see me. But they were wise enough not to gush and overwhelm me. Im so proud of this wonderful organization. We have accomplished so much in the 6 years I have been volunteering with them. I was surprised and honored to be named 'Volunteer of the Year'!  When I was called up I brought Toby with me had had him do his signature 'treat on the nose' trick
He has been my faithful sidekick through all the adventures of my life these last few years. All of my wonderful furry friends are such a blessing.  But there is no greater blessing than a magnificent Golden Retriever with a treat on his nose patiently waiting for the 'ok'
