Sitting in 'the cloud' (I have no idea why they call it that). All I know is we had a heck of a time finding it. The hospital is a maze of corridors and procedure rooms. We had to ask directions every time we saw a hospital person. One nurse took pity on us an walked us to the 'cloud'. But that wasnt where we were supposed to start. It was where I'm supposed to end up. Anyway someone took us to the starting point. Then my nurse came and got me.
Now I'm in waiting mode in a recliner. Signing my soul away as well as an spare body parts that they think they like.
Frank and I are real pros at this. He is sitting beside me. He is in charge of taking my iPad when they wheel me away
He is quite good at his role which involves waiting and driving me here and there. He is a good guy and I'm lucky to have him. What do people do when they don't have a faithful spouse to take care of them?
Oh and another thing. I haven't had anything to eat since last night and it's 2:22. The nurse told me that they are going to spray my throat with numbing medicine. And I can't eat or drink for 4 hours after that. In anticipation of all of this we went out to Souplantation yesterday, and I ate like there was no tomorrow. In this case there actually IS no tomorrow when it comes to eating anyway.
